This beautiful Pattada Anchu cotton handloom saree, a 10th century weave from Karnataka, has a lovely check in black and white. Has two borders, one with a play of blue, other with black. The contrast looks gorgeous. These sarees come with two pallus, one of them is in lovely rustic red with white stripes, and the other one is in mustard. The colors play beautifully along the pallu and border.
This cotton handloom saree is handwoven in a village in the state of Karnataka. In our attempt to revive some of the lost weaves we have partnered with an NGO working with this lost weaves of Karnataka.
We take pride in bringing what was almost lost. These sarees are reversible, so you can choose which border you would like to flaunt. They also come with two pallus, you can choose the one you would like and the other one can be used as a blouse piece. Now, isn't that a work of art. Intricately woven to bring you choices of pallu and border, with absolutely no different of front and back. That is the beauty of hand work.
The shades are bright and summery; and perfect for spring and summers. And comfort of cotton is like a soft breeze!
Wear it at your home, or starch it up for your office. Choice is all yours.
