This beautiful Pattada Anchu cotton handloom saree, a 10th century weave from Karnataka, is in rich purple. woven with red, gives it a lovely and bright shade. The border is a rich turmeric yellow shade. Has two pallus, one with a play of mustard with purple stripes, other one has a lovely play of purple, shades of blue with undertones of pink and white. The contrast looks gorgeous. The colors play beautifully along the pallu and border.
This cotton handloom saree is handwoven in a village in the state of Karnataka. In our attempt to revive some of the lost weaves we have partnered with an NGO working with this lost weaves of Karnataka.
We take pride in bringing what was almost lost. These sarees are reversible, so you can choose which border you would like to flaunt. They also come with two pallus, you can choose the one you would like and the other one can be used as a blouse piece. Now, isn't that a work of art.
